Afya Plexus Wellness & Foundation was founded to address the often-overlooked challenges faced by dialysis and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients in Kenya. While dialysis infrastructure has expanded, many patients struggle with treatment adherence due to unmet emotional, physical, and logistical needs. We recognized that offering dialysis services alone is not enough—patients need comprehensive support to ensure better health outcomes.
Our organization was born out of a deep commitment to holistic patient care. We believe that health should not be limited to the availability of machines or medical procedures; it should encompass emotional well-being, nutrition, financial accessibility, and daily living support.
